Founded by Terry Roland Birnbaum II and Josh Linden, The Saber Legion is an international, full-contact LED saber combat organization built on safety, honor, and community. TSL X marks the 10th annual gathering of fighters and staff—returning to Minnesota roots in Minneapolis and the surrounding Twin Cities. Across the weekend, you’ll see Standard bracket action plus Exotics, Women’s Standard, Tag Team, and Unity formats, all under TSL’s official rules. Whether you’re a first-time competitor or a seasoned veteran, TSL X is designed to be welcoming, clear, and exciting—from gear inspection to finals.
TSL’s Annual International Tournament exists to bring members from around the world together, compete on one stage, and celebrate the growth of LED saber combat. At TSL X, Standard runs in two pathways—Primary and Redemption—so fighters can stay in the action and fight their way through the bracket. Exotic Weapons highlight alternate weapons and Tag Team allows for partner strategies, while Women’s and Unity keep the event inclusive and challenging. On Sunday, Patch-a-Palooza opens the doors for fun-focused community tournaments, workshops, and experimental formats for future ruleset testing.
