STANDARD RANK AS OF 5.13.2025

Standard Division: The foundational division where fighters begin in pools of four. Competitors advance to either the Primary Bracket or Redemption Bracket, culminating in a single-elimination tournament. 

​Key Points About the Standard Division (Ruleset 4.0):
  1. Weapon Guidelines:
    • Single saber configuration only.
    • Blade length and hilt size must comply with the approved specifications outlined in the ruleset.
  2. Scoring System:
    • Points are awarded based on valid strikes to approved target zones.
    • Fighters must execute controlled and intentional hits to score.
  3. Target Zones:
    • Primary scoring areas include the torso, arms, and legs.
    • Head strikes are allowed but must meet safety and control requirements.
  4. Match Format:
    • Matches follow a timed format or are determined by the first to a designated number of points.
    • Double eliminations are used in the Primary Bracket after pool play.
  5. Safety and Conduct:
    • Proper protective gear is mandatory for all competitors.
    • Fighters are expected to uphold sportsmanship and adhere to the rules for safe and fair competition.
